Tracey Waples grew up by the north east coast of England. The background to her youth was wild seas, big skies and expansive beaches – an ideal place to walk and imagine.
After qualifying as a journalist she traded the rugged Northern coastline for the tamer beaches of Dorset and started her working life as a reporter.
A career in newspapers and magazines followed when she swapped the coast for the city, working in Bath, Bristol and London before marrying and moving to Hertfordshire.
Her keyboard has taken her on a varied journey, writing about everything from fashion, food and fundraising to property, parties and pets - and just about everything else in between.
I Want Never Gets was Tracey’s first novel. She is married with two sons and lives in the Hertfordshire countryside where she enjoys spending time with friends and family.
